Terms and Conditions

As other CFA registered catteries, each kitten comes with a contract to protect our kittens, buyer, and Pensacola Persians.

Even if prospective pet parents opt to not proceed with Pensacola Perisans, we highly advise to NEVER do business with a cattery that:

Does not offer a contract
Does not offer in-person or live video chat prior to requesting payment/deposits
Has words such as "Rehoming", "For Sale", "Near You" in their cattery title. Example: Silver Persians for Rehoming. These are often scammers or backyard breeders that either have no kittens, use stolen images from legitimate catteries, or use unethical practices such as overbreeding.

Our Contract Details

Both Buyer and Pensacola Persians agree that the kitten/cat is unique physically, genetically and in character.
The cat/kitten may be returned within three business days of purchase, if deemed unhealthy by a licensed veterinarian. Purchaser will pay for transport back to Pensacola Persians.
Under no circumstances will Pensacola Persians be responsible for veterinarian bills post-delivery.
Kitten must be vaccinated by your veterinarian within fourteen days of purchase, first set of vaccines were covered by Pensacola Persians prior to delivery. Pre delivery veterinary records furnished upon request. (Health Certificate will have date of vaccinations for pet parents records.)
No guarantees are given on the Cat's future health, adult weight, eye color or coat color, eye color may change up to six months of age and coat color even longer, white blue-eyed cats may be deaf or hearing impaired.
The cat/kitten must be neutered or spayed before it is 6 months old, if not purchased with breeding rights.
1. A copy of the Neuter/spay certificate must be forwarded to the Pensacola Persians. Upon receipt of the Neuter/Spay certificate, the cat's registration papers will be forwarded to the Buyer. The Buyer may then register their cat/kitten with the CFA.
If this cat/kitten is found to be neglected or mistreated, Buyer will surrender said cat/kitten to Pensacola Persians unconditionally.
1. Buyer agrees to keep the cat/kitten clean, healthy, and free of parasite, free of stress and harassment and well nourished.
2. Under no circumstances will the Buyer permit this cat/kitten to roam freely outdoors.
3. Buyer is contracted to provide a lifetime home for this cat/kitten.
4. Buyer will contact Pensacola Persians if the Buyer is unable to keep this cat/kitten.
5. Buyer cannot or does not maintain the terms of this agreement
Pensacola Persians retains a security interest in this cat for purposes of enforcement of this agreement and may enforce that interest without judicial intervention.
Buyer agrees that all pictures sent to the Pensacola Persians after date of purchase are the property of Pensacola Persians and may be used on any social media or website. As a courtesy and respect to our pet parents, permission to post will still be asked.
Buyer agrees not to sell, lease, abandon or give this cat to any cattery, pet shop, research facility, animal shelter or similar facilities, for either resale or test purposes.
It is mutually understood that failure to comply with any provision of this agreement may detrimentally affect the reputation and business of Pensacola Persians.
Buyer shall be liable for any court costs and related charges including attorney's fees associated with Pensacola Persians enforcing the terms of this sale. Any legal action which may arise under the terms of this contract will be brought in applicable court closest to the city of Pensacola, Fl.
This agreement is the entire agreement between the parties. Buyer's signature indicates full understanding and agreement of all aspects.
